Important Information Regarding Covid 19 Arena Protocols
Submitted By Brenda Hudson on Saturday, September 19, 2020
Please read through ALL of the below article.

Lambton Attack is pleased to announce that our 2020-21 season will begin September 21st.  Over the past month, we have been working together with our local municipalities and receiving additional direction from the OWHA to ensure a safe environment for our children to return to hockey.  These first few weeks will take some adjustment and we ask parents to be patient as we try and sort things out.

At this time, to ensure that our numbers within our local arenas are below the specified restrictions of 50, and with tryouts suspended at the moment, we have divided our groups by birth year.

The only exception to this was for the U15, where we divided by birth year and last name.   These groups have now been posted on the website.  Please check the schedule regularly for ice time updates and changes.

All three of the arenas that we play out of will have different COVID policies in place.  Below are the policies for both the Watford and Petrolia arenas.  The Alvinston arena is scheduled to open closer to Thanksgiving.

If your child is sick or has any symptoms of COVID-19, please keep them home.

Watford

Players will only be allowed to enter the arena 15 minutes before their scheduled practice through the front entrance.

Upon entering, players, coaches, trainers will have to sign in, acknowledging they can pass the COVID-19 questionnaire.  Parents may go through the COVID-19 questionnaire at home prior to practice.  There will be a link to the questionnaire on the website located under COVID 19 info tab.

EVERYONE that enters the arena needs to be wearing a mask.  Masks may be removed once a player puts their helmet on.

Players will proceed to their designated dressing rooms.  Bathrooms in dressing rooms will be open.

At this time, we are requesting players to come partially dressed so that all players will be ready to go on the ice in 15 minutes.  The only help in the dressing room will be to tie skates.

There are no spectators allowed in the Watford arena, therefore parents will not be allowed to enter the arena.

Players must leave the arena within 15 minutes of the practice.

Instructors, Arena Staff and Board Members will help guide players during these new processes.

Please bring own water bottle filled at home.

Petrolia

Players will only be allowed to enter the arena 15 minutes before their scheduled practice through the front entrance.

Upon entering front doors, players, coaches, trainer will have to sign in, acknowledging they can pass the COVID questionnaire provided on our website.

EVERYONE that enters the arena needs to be wearing a mask. This is mandatory in the town of Petrolia. Masks may be removed once a player puts their helmet on.

Upon entering the front mezzanine there will be benches set up to tie skates and put helmets and gloves on.

We are requesting players come partially dressed (Dressing rooms are closed in Petrolia)

Petrolia has a maximum of 50 people allowed in the arena, and they do have a spectator spot.

At this time, we would like to suggest a maximum of 1 parent per player enter the arena.

Players must leave the arena within 15 minutes of the practice.

Instructors, Arena staff, Board Members will help guide players and parents through this new process.

Please bring own water bottle filled at home. Fill station cannot be used at this time.
