Attack gear up for Stoney Creek Sweetheart Tournament
The blast of winter weather hitting Southwestern Ontario has wreaked havoc on the Attack's start to the full-ice portion of their season, but things will heat up in a major way this weekend as the squad heads to Hamilton for their first tournament of the year.

Taking place at the Liuna 4 Ice Centre, Lambton will square off against St. Catharines (Friday, Jan. 30 @ 1:30 p.m.), Waterloo (Friday, Jan. 30 @ 6:00 p.m.), and Port Colborne (Saturday, Jan. 31 @ 12:00 p.m.) in the Stoney Creek Sweetheart Tournament.

Lambton heads into the weekend with just one full-ice game under their belt, a hard fought 4-0 loss to the Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting at home in Alvinston on Sunday, Jan. 18.

Despite not finding the scoreboard, the Attack showed the same hard fought determination they've displayed all year, battling it out with the Sting while goaltender Holly (Jo) A. held down the fort in net en route to winning hardest working player of the game.

The Attack also saw exceptional performances from Emma S., Mya S., and Paisley R. in the loss, and have since turned their attention to prepping for the remainder of the full ice schedule.

Their next regular season game is a home tilt against the North Middlesex Jr. Stars at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 in Watford before they turn around and head to Lucan for a 9:00 a.m. contest on Sunday, Feb. 8.
