Attack set to take on St. Thomas
The Lambton Attack are getting set to take on the St. Thomas Stars on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia, with puck drop slated for 1:20 p.m.
The Attack are coming off of a hard fought 8-3 loss to the South Huron Sabres on Saturday, Nov. 29, a game that saw June C. continue her scoring streak with a pair of goals while Lailah H. also found the back of the net.
Despite the loss, the team took several positives away from the game; especially their passing game which continues to improve week over week.
Caia M. was one of the highlights, showcasing her skill and determination with a number excellent passes, great defensive positioning, and a tireless work ethic that saw her chase down countless pucks. Caia was named the team's hardest working player of the game for her efforts.
Also standing out for the team was Piper S., who suited up in goal for Lambton and turned away a number of close chances.
The Attack are now 4-4 on the season, with four games left on the schedule before the switch to full-ice on Jan. 15.
