The Lambton Attack traveled up the 402 to Lambeth on Sunday, Nov. 23 and took down the Lancers by a score of 6-2 in a hotly contested contest.
Low scoring compared to some of their previous games, the Attack's excellent work ethic was on full display early with all members of the team contributing to the cause.
Fantastic skating, great passing, and heads up positional play by the Attack kept Lambeth on their heels early and Darcy H. capitalized for Lambton, pocketing her first of two goals on the game to kickstart the scoring.
Also finding the back of the net for the Attack, were Paisley R., Emma S., June C., and Lailah H. - who scored her first of the season to cement the victory for Lambton.
June's engaged play on both sides of the puck, with excellent passing and defensive play, earned her the team's Hardest Working Player of the Game honours.
Isabelle H. stood tall in net for the Attack, showing off her athleticism with several big saves that gave her teammates the chance to go the other way and play with confidence.
Lambton is back in action on Saturday, Nov. 29 when they host South Huron at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia at 12:20 p.m.
