The Lambton Attack took down the visiting Ilderton Jets by a score of 13-4 at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia on Saturday, Nov. 15.
The Attack were flying when they hit the ice, scoring early and often in a fantastic display of the passing, skating, and puck-hounding work the team has been emphasizing in practice lately.
Darcy H. led the way for Lambton, scoring five times while also setting up a number of other goals and creating opportunities for her teammates all afternoon long. Her fantastic play earned her the team's Hardest Working Player helmet after the game, one that was well deserved.
June C. backstopped the attack in goal, showing a fearlessness out there that resulted in a number of huge saves that allowed her teammates to turn and attack the other way.
Also finding the back of the net for Lambton on Saturday was Vi N., a new addition to the team from Windsor who fit in right away, as well as Paisley R. with a hat-trick of her own, Holly A. with a pair, and Annabelle A. and Isabelle H. with a single tally apiece.
Lambton is back in action on Sunday, Nov. 23 when they head to Lambeth to take on the Lancers in a 9:00 a.m. affair at the Lambeth Community Centre.
