The Lambton Attack fell 17 - 3 to the Lucan Irish on Saturday morning at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre.
Finding themselves in a hole early, Lambton fought hard to claw back all game but were only able to solve the Irish netminder three times, with Darcy H. pocketing a pair and Lillian B. adding the 3rd.
The squad's outstanding passing game was on full display yet again, but the Irish's suffocating forecheck meant the Attack were forced to spend most of the game in their zone.
Lailah H. stood tall between the pipes, making bigger and bigger saves as she got more comfortable in the net and earning the game's Hardest Working Player honour as a result.
The Attack are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 15 when the Ilderton Jets fly into town for a 1:20 p.m. affair at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia.
