Take Back The Night Event
Abuse in sport culture happens all around us. Join us for our Annual Take Back the Night on September 14th at 5:00PM at the Sarnia Library Theatre. 

What to expect: We will begin with a condensed screening of the documentary, Broken.
Featured in this documentary are Abby Spadafora, Melanie Hunt and Alheli Picazo. Following the documentary is a Q and A session. 

Abby (Pearson) Spadafora, Melanie (Rocca) Hunt, and Alheli Picazo, three Bluewater Survivors who competed in gymnastics at the International, National and Provincial levels, will take part in a Question and Answer session following a condensed screening of Broken: Inside the Toxic Culture of Canadian Gymnastics, a TSN-W5 documentary in which they appear. 

About our panelists:Abby and Melanie, survivors of abuse in sport, advocate for change and are champions of athlete's rights and protections and serve on the board of directors for Gymnasts for Change Canada.Alheli, whistleblower and survivor of abuse in sport, advocates for safe sport and for training that is free of abuse. 

Following the panel will be a Take Back the Night march downtown
